Jorvik Viking Centre

When all of our class arrived in the entrance we had to stand on a glass floor. Underneath the glass floor we could see the inside of a Viking Long House. We met a man dressed up as a Viking and he asked us some questions like; ?what do you think a person who works with wood is called??, I answered ?carpenter? and I was right! Our Viking Guide explained that many Vikings were either carpenters or worked with metal, which made them a blacksmith. We then went on a ride, there had to be 4 people at the front and four people at the back. Mia, Qasim, Zohaib and Paras sat at the back and Anisa, Aatiba, Ikrah and I sat at the front. Whilst travelling on the ride we saw lots of fake people who were sawing, cutting and doing jobs. All of Class 12 had a great time at the Viking Centre.
