Since September 2009 all children from Years 1 – 6 have been learning to speak German.

Mrs Lelliott is teaching German to Years 1 – 4.
Mrs Wild to Year 5.
Mrs Crowther to Year 6.

Our aim is to make the learning of German fun and exciting for the children. We started by gradually building up basic German conversations to introduce ourselves and find out information about other people. We are also learning about the German culture. Last term we focused on German traditions to do with Christmas. This term we are learning German rhymes, songs and games.
