I have been a teacher at Beech Hill for eleven years and have worked in both key stages. I am at present teaching Year 4 in the mobiles. I have been a teacher governor for a year and this has given me a greater insight into the role of the governing body. I am currently serving on the curriculum committee and am very keen to work with the governing body to move the school forward.

I have been a teacher at Beech Hill for the past seven years and was more recently appointed the Assistant Head position. I have been a Teacher Governor for 5 years and in this time I have seen our school change dramatically for the better. It feels good to be part of a Governing body that wants to support the school in moving forward. I am currently the link governor with responsibility for both Literacy and Race and Equality and I also serve on the Curriculum Committee.

I have been Deputy Head at Beech Hill since April 2010 and I am a Staff Governor. I've always wanted to become a governor, as I think it's an important part of school life. I am very passionate about moving this school forwards and I am pleased to be able to make decisions that involve our pupils, staff and parents. I am looking forward to working more closely with the Governing Body over the next year!
